Новая версия Photomatix - разработана для фотографов и продвинутых любителей. Photomatix Pro комбинирует любое число различных кадров в сцене с высокой контрастностью в одно изображение с деталями и всеми тенями. Photomatix Pro - автономная система, которая расширяет динамический диапазон фотографов. Продукт позволяет пользователям смешивать кадры и восстанавливать локальные детали из High Dynamic Range изображений, созданных из многократного экспонирования. В дополнении к Tone Mapping, Photomatix Pro предлагает 6 методов смешивания кадров, поддержку 16-и битов и пакетную обработку данных.
Photomatix может автоматически создавать HDR изображения (High Dynamic Range - изображение созданные путем многократного экспонирования с расширенным динамическим диапазоном - 32 бит), используя EXIF-информацию, записываемую камерой. Поддерживаются форматы TIFF, RGBE (.hdr), OpenEXR (.exr) и Floating Point, источником может быть файл HDR, JPEG, TIFF 24 и 48 бит. Программа может конвертировать RAW файлы с камер Canon, Nikon и Fuji в формат HDR.
С помощью инструментов Photomatix можно устранить затемненные и слишком яркие участки изображения, сохранив детали, устранить шумы, усилить детализацию, корректировать цветовую температуру, насыщенность цветов и другие параметры. Photomatix Pro содержит средства для пакетной обработки изображений.
В этой версии внесены изменения в интерфейс, улучшен предпросмотр, добавлен новый метод выравнивания изображений - более точный и от этого более медленный. Кроме этого, улучшена работа с большими файлами HDR, добавлены новые возможности пакетной обработки файлов, добавлен плагин для экспорта в Lightroom, появилась опция для уменьшения шума на изображениях HDR, добавлены новые настройки для метода смешивания H&S – Adjust.
Сделав несколько снимков с одной и той же точки, желательно со штатива, но с разной выдержкой, Вы можете объединить эти такие фотографии в картинку с высоким динамическим диапазоном (HDR) и получите возможность управлять светлыми и темными участками снимка и тем самым получите идеальное фото. Создать HDR-изображение можно при помощи программы. Photomatix Pro подберет наилучшие параметры изображений и уменьшит количество шума , если Вам не понравится результат, то можно в ручном режиме настроить необходимые Вам параметры.

If you have ever photographed a high contrast scene, you know that even the best exposure will typically have blown out highlights and flat shadows. Photomatix offers two ways to solve this problem:
› Exposure Blending: Merge differently exposed photographs into one image with increased dynamic range.
› Tone Mapping: Reveal highlight and shadow details in an HDR image created from multiple exposures. The tone mapped image is ready for printing while showing the complete dynamic range captured.
Photomatix Pro is a stand-alone program that runs on Mac OS X and Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista. The Tone Mapping tool is also available separately as a plugin compatible with Photoshop CS2.

The Exposure Blending functions of Photomatix Pro merge any number of bracketed photos -- this process is equivalent to image stacking, which tends to reduce noise in the resulting image.
› Well exposed panoramas
A panoramic scene is almost always a high contrast scene -- you can't limit your view to areas with the same brightness when shooting a 360° panorama. By taking views under several exposures and processing them in Photomatix Pro, you can create a panorama that will show details in both the dark and bright areas of the scene.

› Option for reducing ghosting artifacts in two different cases: one for ghosting due to moving objects, the other for ghosting artifacts due to background movements.

› Source images can be either 8 bits/channel or 16 bits/channel images, or RAW files from several camera models as well as DNG files.
› In the case of RAW files, White Balance and output color space can be adjusted.

› Option for different preview sizes (small, medium, large and fit)
› Undo and redo buttons for the settings done.
› Output image is in 16 bits/channel mode, with the option to save it as 8 bits/channel jpeg or tiff, if desired
› In the case of Details Enhancer, input image can also be a 16 bits/channel image file.
› Option for output as equirectangular image set to be viewed in a 360 degree panorama viewer in the case of Details Enhancer.
› Tone Mapping can be undone.
